''Robert Johnson's Tombstone'' is British hard rock band Thunder's eighth studio album. The title comes from the song "Robert Johnson's Tombstone" which is track 1 on the album. It was written by Luke Morley about the mystery surrounding where Robert Johnson was buried and the legend that he sold his soul to the Devil as payment for his extraordinary guitar-playing abilities.〔(Thunder Online - Robert Johnson's Tombstone album page )〕 The album cover art features the band's drummer Harry James (in red make-up and tuxedo) as the Devil sat next to a replica of Johnson's tombstone. The album did reasonably well considering it was released on an independent label. It reached #56 in the UK album charts and the single ''The Devil Made Me Do It'' reached number 40 in the UK top 40 charts. There was also a video made for ''The Devil Made Me Do It'', an animated feature, which received some airplay late at night on the UK music channel Scuzz. ==Track listing== All songs written by Luke Morley, except where noted〔Album Sleeve Notes〕〔(Allmusic Thunder - Robert Johnson's Tombstone )''Allmusic.com''; Retrieved 2010-03-05〕 #"Robert Johnson's Tombstone" - 4:28 #"Dirty Dream" - 4:31 #"A Million Faces" - 4:56 #"Don't Wanna Talk About Love" - 5:48 #"The Devil Made Me Do It" - 4:20 #"Last Man Standing" (Morley/Childs) - 6:56 #"My Darkest Hour" - 3:28 #"Andy Warhol Said" - 5:10 #"What a Beautiful Day" - 4:03 #"It's All About You" - 4:43 #"Stubborn Kinda Love" 〔 - 4:22 Japanese Bonus tracks〔 #"Fade into the Sun (Live at Shepherds Bush Empire 2005)" #"I Love You More Than Rock 'n' Roll" (Live at Shepherds Bush Empire 2005) #"I'm in Heaven" #"The Girl Is Alright" 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Robert Johnson's Tombstone」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
